Occupation/Career Description Executive Assistant to General Manager at Raytheon-ELCAN Optical Technologies Military Service (Branch/Date/Locations/The Good/The Bad) Hobbies Aerobics, Reading, Computers Most significant thing in my life between 1965 and 1970 Met and married my husband. We dated for only 3 months – have been married for 36 years. It was truly love at first sight for both of us (and still is). Best job I ever had (or place of residence) and why I would say my current position is the best. It is full of challenges, creativity, and skill requirements that keep me on my toes. Worst job I ever had (or place of residence) and what I learned from it Touching up artwork and measuring circuits (under a microscope) for printed circuit boards. I learned that a desk job was not so bad – it beat looking through a microscope 12 hours a day. Ready to retire – or more dragons to slay I’m not quite ready to retire yet. I enjoy my job and love the people I work with. Should that change, I would retire but I would still do something – volunteering or charitable work. Best book(s) I’ve read since 1965 Kite Runner Favorite movie(s) I’ve watched since 1965 American Graffiti My most enjoyable trip/vacation St. Kitts Most rewarding thing about the last 40 years Being a wife and mother. Through my family, especially my children, I
have known the proudest moments, the greatest happiness, and the deepest
sadness of my life. My oldest son is deceased. My youngest son lives in
Plano. Three things I did that I never dreamed of doing in 1965 1. Leave Lubbock to live in Dallas Three things I haven’t done but would like to (or will) do 1. Go on an Alaska Cruise Personality trait or quality I like most about myself Sense of humor Most important lesson I learned from my spouse/best friend To find my own inner strength |
